Actress Anne Hathaway was born on November, 12th, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. Her father was a lawyer and her mum worked as an actress. The mother’s profession made strong impact on young Ann – since childhood she took great interest in theatre and dreams to appear on stage. When she was a teenager she played in amateur theatre and her beautiful voice helped her. At fourteen Anne Hathaway tried to get into a professional theatre on Broadway. But she wasn’t accepted as she looked too young for performing adult roles and was too high for playing children’s roles. In 1998 Ann decided to find a role on TV.
The attempt was successful Hathaway was taken to the teleserial “Get real”. Due to participation in the teleserial the young actress manages to get to the big screen. In 2001 he receives a leading role in Disney’s film “The Princess Diaries”. The shootings in this film in which Ann acted together with Julie Andrews appeared a good school for the young actress. After several roles in romantic fairy tales and melodramatic films Ann was known to everyone as a sweet industrious girl however the actress didn’t want to get into the circle of such roles only. She managed to break the stereotype after she acted in the film “Havoc” (2005) where she performed the role played the role of a street little girl without brakes not being ashamed of rather frank scenes.
