William Bradley Pitt was born on December, 18th 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Has grew up in an exemplary American family, very decent and very religious. His father worked as a manager at a company dealing with cargo transportation, mother was a teacher at local school. At school Pitt went in for sports, was a member of Forensics clubs, musical section and participated in student’s self-management. After school William entered the University of Missouri where he studied journalism and advertising. However after the university he didn’t work as a journalist but went to Hollywood with the purpose to begin actor’s career. There he changed his name for “Brad Pitt” but it didn’t affect the number of the roles he would be invited for. Before he became a succssesful actor he used to work as a driver, a carrier of furniture and even as a barker to restaurants “El Pollo Loco” where he had to invite people to visit a restaurant being dressed in a suit of a huge chicken. His professional career began after he got a role in the teleserial “Dallas”. He played small roles in various serials and films. In 1988 he at last from the leading part in a film “The Dark Side of the Sun”. However when the film was being edited a civil war broke out in the part of Yugoslavia where the film was shot. Most of the shot material had been lost till 1998 when the film at last appeared on the screens. In 1991 Pitt acted in a successful film “Thelma and Louise”. Then there were successful roles in films “A River Runs Through It”,”Legends of the Fall”,”Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles” and “Se7en”. He was nominated for Oscar for Best Actor of the second plan in the film of 1995 ” Twelve Monkeys”. In 1999 Pitt played one of his most known roles in a cult film“ Fight Club ”. After that he acted in many films, including” Mr. And Mrs. Smith” together with his present wife Angelina Jolie.
