George Clooney was born on May, 6th 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky. George Clooney got to show business in his early childhood. His father – Nick, a journalist, was a constant conductor of a talk show on a cable television and the boy first appeared in front of a camera at the age of five. His childhood George Clooney can’t call unhappy though the prosperity periods often were replaced by despair years and their family often had to move from place to place in hope to find more profitable work for the father. Therefore George early learnt both the taste of money and luxury and poverty.
And though George Clooney was always sure to have a brilliant career the glory didn’t come to him at once. Actually he can be called a loser: when he graduated from the University he spent a year without job then he moved to Los Angeles and acted in eight television films none of which was ever ready to appear on the screen. Who knows where the attempts of Clooney to become a popular actor would lead if it were not for his participation in a television serial “ER” which not only brought him international popularity but also has provided comfortable existence. The actor was noticed and he became many invitations. The film “From Dusk Till Dawn” made Clooney one of the most popular actors of the nineties. For today George Clooney is probably the most interesting American actor who can play any role and he proved that appearing either in the role of a bloodthirsty and cynical gangster in a fantastic thriller “From Dusk Till Dawn” or appearing in the image of the most unfortunate and lovely father in melodrama “One Fine Day”; he can both amuse the audience in another film about the adventures of Batman or show full seriousness in “Ocean’s Twelve”.
