Kim Basinger without love

On October 12, 1980, Kim Basinger got married with makeup artist Ron Snyder-Britton. She got acquainted with him during filming Hard Country. They divorced in 1989. Later he wrote a memoir titled “Longer than Forever” published in 1998, about their time spent together and about her rumored romances with singer Prince and actor Richard Gere, with whom she used to act in No Mercy and Final Analysis. In 1990 Kim got acquainted with her second husband, actor Alec Baldwin, during playing a lover with him in the film The Marrying Man. They got married on August 19, 1993 and acted in the remake of The Getaway. They also played themselves in a 1998 episode of “The Simpsons” (episode also includes Ron Howard), in which Kim Basinger corrects the main person on cartoon Homer Simpson on the pronunciation of her last name and also polishes her “Oscar” statuette. The couple has a daughter, Ireland Eliesse “Addie” Baldwin. They filed for divorce in January 2001 and became officially divorced in February 2002. Since then they feel hostility to each other and are in a contentious public custody battle. Alec Baldwin’s book “A Promise To Ourselves” tells how Kim Basinger denied Baldwin access to their daughter since their separation.
