The real name of Tila Tequila is Thien Thanh Thi Nguyen. She was born on October, 24th, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She is a singer, model and actor. The most active years of career rise since 2001 and till present days. Now she lives in West Hollywood, California. She is known as a participant of Stuff, Maxim, Time and Penthouse. The greatest popularity came to her after the role on Fuse TV in show Pants-Off Dance-Off. Also is popular for the show on MTV A “Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” which ended on October, 9th, 2007, her web site – MySpace is the most popular according to the quantity of visitors. Nguyen was born in Singapore where her family emigrated leaving Vietnam during the war. When she was one year old her family moved to suburb of Houston to a small town Alief where they lived till they were accepted by a Buddhist temple. After entering a school Tila got into a fought and that was the beginning of school changes – one after another. As soon as she left school she took the passport of her sister to enter night clubs where she started taking light drugs and got under influence of one of local gangs.
In one of the interviews to Import Tune she said: “I simply was in search of my personality: first I thought that I am black, then that I am a Latin American and joined a gang (cholo gang). Later she found friends out of the gang who helped her to break with it and finally to escape to Queens New York at the age of 16. At the beginning of her career in Playboy at the age of 18 she won the rank of the girl of week and finally the girl of month and as it turned out she was the first Asian to receive such rank till 2002. Then followed magazine Import Tuner and video clips for PC game Street Racing Syndicate. In 2003 she was a contestant of VH1 then took part in TV show where participants executed tricks for the star. Then followed well known show Pants-Off Dance-Off. After that she worked for VH1 as a commentator. Then in 2006 she was on the cover of the magazines Stuff where she was included in the 100 of most sexual women; in August 2006 and December 2007 she appeared in the magazine Maxim UK. On April, 6th, 2007 on NBC she declared that she has more than one million friends on the Internet site MySpace exactly speaking there are 1771920 of them.
